In the other direction you can visit Barcelona which is approximately two hours away or more locally the resorts of the Costa Brava with its numerous beaches and lively resorts. Well worth a visit is Cadaques, the home of the Salvador Dahli museum and not far away is the Nature Reserve of Cap de Creuse with its stunning unspoilt scenery taking you out to the peninsula. The Spanish towns of Roses and Figures are steeped in history and only an hour away.
